Candidacidin Naturopathic Laboratory Proven Antifungal Treatment

Yeast infestation is often the culprit that causes weight gain, particularly around the stomach, thighs, and derriere, as well as driving your weight back up again after a successful dieting effort. Candidacidin Antifungal treatment stops yeast from growing colonies in the small intestines, which then take up residence in your lower intestines and make you ill.

Candida is medically controversial; however, many visitors to this web site are looking for Naturopathic solutions to a yeast or Candida problem, particularly stopping unwanted weight gain or achieving permanent weight loss, frequently incapacitating fatigue, and a myriad of symptoms that don't fit particular diseases. Not everyone has a Candida problem; however, if you believe you have a yeast or Candida problem try Candidacidin - it is 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Candidacidin is a naturopathic proprietary blend packaged in Kosher vegetarian capsules.

Wound healing is the process of repair that follows injury to the skin and other soft tissues. The capacity of a wound to heal depends in part on its depth, as well as on the overall health and nutritional status of the individual. Nutritional and herbal supplements may improve the quality of wound healing by influencing these reparative processes or by limiting the damaging effects of inflammation. Healing Strips (TM) promote the use of beneficial ointments and creams by providing a means to apply them to allow for longer absorption time. Healing Strips are not treated with any antibiotic or scar reducing treatment.

The key to successful wound healing is to use a treatment that is beneficial to the process and does a minimum of damage when used.

  Phases of Wound Healing

There are three phases to healing: the inflammatory phase, the proliferation phase, and the remodeling or maturation phase. The inflammatory phase begins immediately and lasts 2 to 6 days, during which time bleeding stops, white blood cells fight bacterial infection, and collagen formation begins. (Collagen is what scars are made of and what holds wounds together). The wound is usually warm, red, swollen, and painful.

After a few days, the proliferation phase takes place, and continues for about 3 to 4 weeks. Collagen continues to be produced, pulling the edges of the wound together, and new capillaries (tiny blood vessels) are formed to aid in healing. This can cause visible thickening of the skin edges and new red, bumps called granulation tissue in the shrinking wound.

Finally, the maturation phase begins, and continues for a period from several weeks to several years. This slow process entails the formation of even more collagen to strengthen the wounds, and then scar remodeling to break down excess collagen in the scar; this can change a thick, red, raised scar to a thin, flat, white scar over a period of months to years.

For most patients, wounds heal naturally as the body works to heal itself. Yet for those whose healing process is delayed or complicated by other conditions, the wound site becomes a medical problem that requires specialized treatment and care. Healing Strips (TM) promote the use of beneficial ointments and creams by providing a means to apply them to allow for longer absorption time. Healing Strips are not treated with any antibiotic or scar reducing treatment.

  Why We Invented Healing Strips

For the past year I have been undergoing redundant skin reduction following a weight loss of over 180 pounds. I have not inches, but feet, yards of scars. As most incisions healed, different surgeries required different types and times of treatments after the doctor has removed the stitches and sterile strips. In most surgeries, there was a period of time where some part of absorbable stitching worked its way out of the incision, extending healing time in that area until the stitch or particle was removed. When I had the skin from my lower back removed (back beltectomy), my body seemed to have rejected the deep tissue stitching that zig-zagged across the incision from right side to left -- zig-zag stitching two inches above and below the stitch line; it was a lot of stitch material to remove. As a result, my husband had daily bouts of stitch pulling duty.

The healing process requires that anti-biotics be kept on while the incision is healing, and then hydrocortisone be kept on until the scar is mature; after that you want to use scar cream to help dissolve any remaining visible scarring. For the first three months you should have ongoing treatments applied. Different healing rates may require use of different ointments at the same application.

The skin around an incision is extremely tender, as is the suture line itself. You just can't repeatedly apply and remove adhesive tape several times a day. Everything we tried to keep ointments on for absorption either didn't work or would work but it crossed the suture line or irritated the surrounding tissue. After weeks of trial and error, we finally devised a system that would keep the area from irritation and pain due to adhesive, keep the treatment ointment where it could treat the incision, and let air get to the area for healing. We were both thrilled, and Healing Strips were born; the truth is, we moved into obtaining a patent and producing them so they would be available for my next surgery.
